domain mapping addon for free plan?

    We have been using the domain mapping addon with the free plan for the last 4-5 years but having trouble renewing that this year. Is the domain mapping addon removed from the free plan for some reason?

    Hi there,

    According to our records you did have domain mapping on your account until recently, but it appears that you transferred the domain registration to us, so that the domain is now housed here at WordPress.com entirely, and is no longer just mapped.

    Because of this, its not possible to set it as the primary address of your site, but you can add that ability by upgrading to the WordPress.com Personal Plan

    We are not able to make adjustments on the monthly plan pricing, but if you upgrade to the yearly version of the Personal plan we can credit the amount you spent on the plan, so you do not have to pay full price this year. Let us know how you would like to proceed or if you have any questions.
