domain mapping cancellation

  I just cancelled domain mapping.

  I received an email that my credit card was charged, but that credit card had already expired so I’m not sure how/if that charge ended up going through. In any case, I would like to cancel domain mapping and just keep the wordpress URL for now …

  *** my wordpress URL doesn’t display my site; is this something that just takes a little while to work properly, or do I have to take particular steps to detach my personal domain from the mapping function? Right now, both return a ‘page not found’ message. Thanks!

  I can confirm you have cancelled your upgrade and removed it from your account.  To confirm this, go to your Purchases page here, where you will see it is no longer listed: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

  You can also see any pending refunds here, which take 7-10 days to be returned to your account: https://wordpress.com/me/billing

  I can confirm that in the time since you have cancelled your mapping, your site now appears at brazilstrings.wordpress.com as expected.
