Domain Mapping Causing my Website to Be Down!!!
-
I bought my domain on Go Daddy and went to wordpress.com where I bought a premium plan and mapped my domain to WordPress by updating my name servers on Go Daddy. I realized this wasn’t what I wanted to do, so I canceled the plan, reverted my name servers back to Go Daddy’s default and installed WordPress through Go Daddy. I now keep getting this message on my website bookhubbub.com: Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.
It has been over 24 hours, and I’m still seeing the message whenever I go to my website. I even deleted my entire site on WordPress.com. I don’t get what’s going on. It’s redirecting it to https://bookhubbub.com. That is NOT the default domain set in Go Daddy. The site has been a disaster since I canceled my wordpress subscription. I need an explanation as soon as possible.

I am seeing bookhubbub.com point correctly to your GoDaddy self-hosted site.
It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency.
Or, your browser may be looking at a cached version of the page. You can try either clearing your cache, using a different browser, or loading the page and then holding the shift key while you click reload/refresh.
