Domain mapping expired

  I noticed my domain doesn’t work and I got a notification saying domain mapping expired…. I have my website http://www.longislandoboelessons.com with Arvixe. Do I have to pay to map it to WordPress. I don’t remember ever paying for WordPress

  Hi there,

  Yes, the mapping subscription is needed in order to use longislandoboelessons.com with your WordPress.com site, and it does cost $13. You have the domain registration on another host, but for mapping and using the domain on WordPress.com requires you to pay for mapping.

  I paid for the upgrade but it is still not working…. do I need to do anything after I pay?

  I see that you paid for the personal plan, but you haven’t utilized the mapping upgrade that it is included with the purchase of the plan. You need to go here to claim the domain.
