Domain mapping – how will it affect my Google search ranking

  Hi, I have a website which ranks very high in Google, however the company who created my website are not the best and I want the simplicity of WordPress so I can edit content myself.

  I have created a new WordPress.com website and am going to map my domain name to this site.

  How will this affect my Google ranking? The content will still be pretty much the same if this makes a difference?
