Domain Mapping Lost

  I have a receipt from Nov. 13th 2016 where I purchased domain mapping and domain registration to renew coryfilm.com However, I have since lost access to that domain mapping and the site is now requiring an upgrade on what I expected to be a yearlong renewal from last Nov. The error message I am getting is: Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

  Hi there,

  It appears that when you tried to renew the domain there was a communication error between us and our registrar which caused the upgrades to be removed from your account instead.

  I’ve restored the upgrades to your account and the domain appears to be working, but I’ve also asked a developer to take a look to make sure the domain is properly associated with your account again. Until that is fixed you might not be able to make changes to contact information or name servers, and you wont’ be able to transfer the domain.

  You’re very welcome. And I apologise for the downtime on your domain. We have automatic checks in place to notify us if something like this happens, but it looks like it never caught your domain either.

  When the renewal “failed” your payment was added to your account as credits. I’m leaving those in place, so you can use them for a future renewal, or as a discount on a future purchase. Note that credits can only be used for a manual renewal, not auto-renew.
