Domain Mapping – Move domain name from one wordpress blog to another

  Hello

  I mapped a domain name to a new wordpress blog to use as a website. I then decided to merge my site and existing blog by amending the template on my blog.

  I now want my domain name to point to a different blog address. I have transferred my upgrades from denise.startin.wordpress.com (mapped as .co.uk) to quoadsubjectum. There is also an option in upgrades to transfer domain name but it appears nothing has happened. Both blogs are hidden until I sort it out, Can anyone advise?

  Also I had a few glitches on my mac that caused the page to refresh and perform the transfer action a couple of times. When I search on my Mac for my site it creates an error saying too many redirects yet it comes up on my pc. What does this mean?

  Hi

  I know its the bank holiday but my website is down because of this issue. I have tried in my upgrades to transfer domain mapping from denise.startin.wordpress.com mapped as denise.startin.co.uk to quoadsubjectum.wordpress.com and for the first time noticed this error message:

  The product transfer could not be completed because a subscription or transaction record could not be found. Please contact support and quote this message to resolve the issue.

  I am sure I paid for this as part of the premium upgrade but either way I have paid for it, can you please advise ASAP.

  I have moved domain mapping for denise.startin.co.uk to quoadsubjectum.wordpress.com. However, it does not appear as if denise.startin.co.uk is registered anywhere. Have you registered denise.startin.co.uk with a domain registrar?

  Ah, my apologies.

  denisestartin.co.uk is the domain and it is correctly moved to your quoadsubjectum.wordpress.com WordPress.com site. I was merely confused by your “denise.startin.co.uk” typo in your post above.

  All should be good now. Let me know if it is not.
