Domain Mapping on Personal Plan?

  I am interested in inquiring a personal plan for the sake of using my current domain name but it says that i need to upgrade to premium for me to use Domain Mapping feature. Can i avail personal plan and get that domain mapping feature because my domain is hosted by another site. dot.com

  You can use the Personal Plan to map a domain, but you need to add it to your cart before the domain. If the domain is added first, then the Premium plan is selected automatically.

  I have a similar query. But I am not sure what you mean by “add it to your cart before the domain”. It would be better if you elaborate the steps we need to take so that we won’t be upgraded to the Premium plan automatically.

  Hi hockpheng,

  Ok, I can go into more detail. Add the Personal plan to your cart first. You can then purchase the plan — and will be prompted to choose a domain once the plan is active.

  Or once the plan has been added to your cart, you can go to My Sites > Domains > Add and choose a domain. Domains will be listed as ‘Free with your plan’.
