domain mapping price scam

  I own the domain name leejayheffer.com and want to change my current (email visible only to moderators and staff) to my owned domain (leejayheffer.com) i was under the impression this was free but im unable to simply do this. Why? what am i doing wrong, I think maybe its regestered already but im unsure where or how to find it.

  if you want to map the domain name you own leejayheffer.com to leejayheffer.wordpress.com. then you want domain mapping: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/ cost $ 13. / year

  You can just forward your domain name but the name your visitors see will not show the custom domain name – your base name will be displayed to visitors: leejayheffer.wordpress.com

  leejayheffer.com is registered with Godaddy

  If you want a custom email address to match leejayheffer.com (i.e. (email visible only to moderators and staff)) – Godaddy can do that for you even with your blog at WordPress.COM – probably need to pay them a bit for the email hosting – Gmail I think can also do custom domain email – I think they just changed their policy to charge a bit for that service
