Domain mapping – problem
-
I’ve asked to map RTSixty.com to my site but actually it is RTsixty.co.uk that I want to map – can you help fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I see that you successfully cancelled the mapping for rtsixty.com and mapped rtsixty.co.uk to your blog, so you should be all set! Your domain is working with your blog here: http://rtsixty.co.uk/
Please let me know if you have any other questions! :)

Hi Rachel
Thanks for the reply – yes I worked it out after posting the question!
However I am having problems with another of my sites, http://www.kindredlondon.co.uk I’m trying to map that and thought I had but it seems to still be coming up as kindredlondon.wordpress.com? Any tips?
Thanks Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,
Your domain mapping for kindredlondon.co.uk is set up properly — the custom domain just isn’t set to be the primary domain for your site. The primary domain is the address that appears in your browser’s address bar.
You can change this under Store > Domains in your site’s dashboard. Select your custom domain and then click the “Update primary domain” button. We have more information about that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domains-settings/#changing-your-primary-domain
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Super – got it sorted now, thank you!
I have another blog, http://www.kindred.org.uk which we want to shut down and migrate the info from, as we want to now use Kindredlondon.co.uk
is it possible to take it offline?x

Your blog at http://kindred.org.uk/ is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which means that the support staff here at WordPress.com doesn’t have the tools to access the site’s files or dashboard to help with it. You can get support for WordPress.org sites here: http://wordpress.org/support/
Just to clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate entities. You can learn more about that here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
If you want to move any of the content from that site to your site here at WordPress.com, we have a guide for doing that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-from-wordpress-org
I hope this helps! :)

Hi there
Ah yes I remember.. actually I just want to close it down completely can I do that through the site?
-
To close down your site, you can delete the WordPress files and database from your hosting account. If you have any questions about how to do that, you can check with your website host.
If you no longer need separate website hosting for a self-hosted site, you can also cancel the hosting account you have with that website hosting provider.
