Domain mapping problem

  I upgraded to map integritytherapeutics.wordpress.com to my owned domain on godaddy integritytherapeutics.ca. All the DNS changes were made correctly. I switched my primary to the owned domain. At some point godaddy had a parked page for my account. However now when I type in integritytherapeutics.ca I get referred to a wordpress.com main site and not integritytherapeutics.wordpress.com. I may be impatient and need to wait but there may be other problems. Can you assist.

  This redirection issue has not been resolved and I would appreciate a happiness engineer to look into it asap. I keep trying to get the owned domain integritytherapeutics.ca to work but when it fails I switch back to the wordpress version so I can work on it. Now sometimes I cannot even get into that. Please assist.

  Hi there,

  The problem is that your domain integritytherapeutics.ca has been set up with a redirect, so it sends visitors to http://integritytherapeutics.wordpress.com. However, when someone visits your WordPress.com address there they are redirected to your domain (that’s how the domain mapping upgrade works), so you end up with a redirect loop.

  For the domain mapping to work, that redirect needs to be removed from the domain and the domain’s name servers need to be updated to these:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
