Domain Mapping Removal

  Only after signing up did I discover that I could not add plugins of my choice. I cancelled my account within the 30 day period but in the meantime, I paid 13.00 for domain mapping. I am having trouble now using that domain name with another hosting site and I suspect it may have to do with the mapping. How can I get WordPress to release my domain?

  Have you logged into your domain registrar and changed the domain’s nameservers to point to your new webhost?

  That is all you need to do.

  Please keep in mind, it can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency.
