Domain mapping renewal

  I need to switch ownership for my site, joanna1.com, from my ex, Andrew Marcuse, to myself in order to renew expired domain mapping

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I can transfer the domain mapping upgrade for joanna1.com and ownership of the site to you but I will need permission from the current owner first.

  @joannamarcuse — you should now be able to renew the domain mapping upgrade from the Manage Purchases page.

  Gemma:I went into “manage purchases” & could not find a way to just purchase domain renewal. The only options I get are to upgrade my site. I don't want that.

  I am still having problems. Now I have option to renew domain mapping but gave credit card info & receipt reads $0.00…

  I checked your account and it shows your card was not charged. There is confirmation of this in your Billing History:

  https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

  I’ve sent a payment request to the email address on your account so you can pay there :)

  OK, payment worked. But I received an email receipt telling me I need to take further action to complete domain renewal. I’m not sure what they want now…

  Your payment has come through and I’ve renewed your domain mapping upgrade for another year — there shouldn’t be any renewal messages displayed in your account now. The domain is pointing to WordPress.com so you are all set!
