I have my domain registered with godaddy, but the domain mapping to my wordpress site expired as my card on file was old. How do I go about getting this back?

Hi there,
I was able to map atlixcoproductions.com for you. You’ll still need to do a few things:
1) Purchase the subscription here by renewing:
https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades2) If you haven’t done so already, point the domain to our name servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com3) After giving that a few hours to take effect, set the domain as primary under https://wordpress.com/my-domains

Thank you for the information. I have always had a free wordpress account and was charged annually $13 for the domain mapping. Is that not the case anymore? When I tried to set my domain it did not give me a choice to have a free WP site. Please advise.

Hey there,
As of a few years ago, you can no longer register or map a domain individually with WordPress.com. Domain subscriptions can be purchased as a part of one of our many plans here. This recent domains with plans only update was made as we continue to work diligently to provide the best WordPress.com experience for both users who choose to purchase a plan as well as those who choose the free plan.
You were able to pay only $13 because you had a mapping subscription before we updated this policy – however, you lose that ability if you let your upgrade expire.
You should be able to renew the mapping upgrade here.
