Domain Mapping Renewal for Two WordPress Sites

    Hi!

    GoDaddy said I still own KirbieJohnson.com but that you (WordPress) are in charge. I’m not sure what happened, but I thought my domains automatically renewed each year for $18. It’s now saying I owe $99 per site?

    I was hoping you could help me restore two domains:
    KirbieJohnson.com
    Mentervention.com

    I paid $20 in G-Suite for something on Mentervention. I received an email saying that KirbieJohnson.com was set to renew 1/22.

    Hi there,

    kirbiejohnson.com was registered with us, but it expired on 22 January. It is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to restore it at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the process started.

    mentervention.com is currently registered with GoDaddy.com, and it looks like it will expire on 30 March. That domain was connected here via a domain mapping upgrade which expired in April 2016 already. To map that domain here again you can add a new mapping upgrade via My Site ->Domains.

    We only started supporting G Suite for mapped domains on WordPress.com two months ago, and we also only sell an annual subscription at $50 a year, so you did not buy G Suite from us. You either bought that from GoDaddy along with your domain, or directly from Google. Please check with them about that subscription.
