Domain mapping troubles

  I created a blog here years ago with a custom domain…but the knowledge of how to do it has fallen out of my head. I purchased a domain name from 1and1, and followed the mapping instructions. 1and1 said everything is ready, WordPress upgrade was purchased and set up…but the site is landing on a “This domain has just been purchased page”. Did I do something wrong? Do I still need to wait for everything to settle in? Thank you!

  It can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet – changes usually start after a few hours but operation will be erratic until the changes have migrated
