Domain Migration

  I transferred my domain away from wordpress.com and have redirected my DNS to a new host; however, my domain name still redirects back to jakecreps.wordpress.com for some reason. Can I remove any link back to WordPress from my domain please?

  Hi there,

  I did not see you mention it, but you are referring to jakecreps.com, yes?

  When I visit that site I can confirm I am not redirected to a WordPress.com address. Instead for me jakecreps.com loads as expected and appears to be a site hosted at Name.com instead.

  I can also confirm that your domain uses “name.com” DNS settings when I look here: https://gwhois.org/jakecreps.com+dns

  If you are still seeing a WordPress.com site, you may need to clear your browser cache. Also if this is a recent change please be aware that anytime you change your domain settings, it will be 24-48 hours until you see that change reflected in your browser.
