Domain Mistake

  I was editing my website and typed in a new domain name, which apparently was already attached to another site. When I did so and saved it, it redirected me to that site and now I can’t access my website! Help??

  What is the URL of the site you need help with? The WordPress.com account you’re using to post here is less than a day old and doesn’t own any sites with us.

  Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
