  Hello,
  I just signed up for a new url through your site as communitythrive.org but it is showing up as communitythrive.wordpress.com

  Will it switch to the .org soon or did I miss a step?

  You’re almost there, you just need to set your primary domain via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.
