  I own openportalworks.com registered in Wix. I also own openportaltarot.wordpress.com. I don’t know why I would connect the two, I think I just want one page that is openportalworks.com registered in WordPress. What do I do next?

  We have two ways you can use a domain you already own with a site hosted here at WordPress.com:

  Domain Connection allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
