    I have chosen a domain name I wish to use but by default I see many numbers before wordpress. com

    The domain name I have chosen is – digimart1. wordpress. com

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    digimart1. wordpress. com is not available as it has already been registered on the wordpress.com.

    @dray104c, I do want to add that you’re welcome to use a free .blog subdomain instead if you’d like, so that you can get closer to the address you want. Here’s how:

    That said, I’m also guessing by the word mart in your name, you might be intending to set up a shopping cart, in which case you might want to use your own domain name with the paid plan you’ll need.
