    I went from a premium plan to free plan now my domain name has .blog.wordpress in it. I purchased the domain name from Go Daddy can I get back to the domain name I had with the free plan?

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    The ability to connect a custom domain (like the one you have with GoDaddy) is a feature that is included in our plans only. The reason you see rhondacarpenterblog.wordpress.com as your site address at the moment is because it’s not possible to have a free site with a custom address on WordPress.com. Instead free sites use the address that is created on signup.

    If you wish to set your custom address you can do so by upgrading to any of the plans here: https://wordpress.com/plans/

    If cost is an issue you can use the Personal plan, which will allow you to use your GoDaddy address. Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
