  If I change my domain name, will I still have access to what I’ve written under the first domain name?

  Typically we would see your domain listed here, so is it possible you made your domain purchase under a different login? What is the URL of the site in question? Happy to check our system so we can take a closer look.

  Well I haven’t actually changed anything yet. And maybe I’m saying domain name and I mean something else??
  The part that says jonlaurateague.wordpress.com is what I was wondering about. I would like to change the beginning of that…

  Hi, changing your site’s address (the part before .wordpress.com) or connecting a domain (e.g., jonlaurateague.com) will not affect your content and layout.
