  Hi there,

  Is this for emmahalstead.com? That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the recovery process started.

  Is this $80 fee on top of the renewal fee please?

  It is, yes.

  I realise it’s a lot, but that’s what we need to pay to get the domain back, so we’re not able to waive it.

  The alternative is to wait for the domain to pass through redemption, which should be another 4 weeks or so, and then register it as a new domain once it’s released. This is risky, though, as someone else could buy the domain the moment it’s released, before you’re able to. I cannot give you an exact date when it will be released, as we don’t control that process.
