  Hi. I’m trying to create a website with the URL ‘acrossthepond.wordpress.com’. When I search for that URL, there is no website that comes up, yet it is not an option when I come to selecting a domain name. Any tips on how I could acquire it? Thanks

  When I search for that URL, there is no website that comes up

  acrossthepond.wordpress.com is already owned by someone else, so you won’t be able to register it I’m afraid:

  https://acrossthepond.wordpress.com/

  They haven’t added any content yet though, which is why you are seeing the ‘Nothing Found’ message.
