  Hi I wanted to create a website which says: http://www.shirelagging.com.au or http://www.shirelaggung.com but what has been created for me is http://www.shirelagging.wordpress.com

  How can I delete WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  In order to be able to delete your blog, please follow these steps:

  1- Visit your site’s settings page by clicking on My Sites and then click on Settings.

  2 – Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page, and select Delete Site .

  3 – You will first be presented with the option to export your content. Once you delete your site, this content won’t be recoverable, so it’s smart to export the content to a .zip file before taking any further steps. You can do so by clicking the Export Content button.

  4- Finally, click on the Delete Site button. Confirm the deletion, then click the Delete This Site button.

  To have a custom domain like shirelagging.com.au or shirelaggung.com you need to buy a paid plan at My Site ->Plans first. See here for more information:

  Please don’t delete the free address. ALL WordPress.com sites have a free address, and it will be replaced by the custom domain once you upgrade. If you delete the free address, you delete your entire site and won’t be able to get it back.

  Please do not tell users to delete their site if they want get rid of the “wordpress” in their URL. Deleting the site won’t remove the “wordpress”, it will remove the entire site, and site deletions cannot be reversed.
