  Hi,

  I had a .wordpress.com site which I deleted (I accidentally made two sites). I am now trying to change my other site to the previous address but it’s telling me ‘that site is already taken’, which I know it’s not because I just deleted it. Is it just a matter of waiting?

  Hi alysrhiannon,

  Deleting a site disables the address and makes it unavailable for use, so it’s not something we recommend doing unless it won’t be needed in the future. Can you send a link to the deleted site you are referring to?
