I just bought a domain with 123 provider for the next 2 years. If transfer it to you instead does it mean i get my 3rd year free? as i already got this year and next paid for with 123. also in 3rd year how much will you be charging me for the domain name if it transfer it over to you? If I don’t decide what’s best yet can i still build a website using your free domain and transfer it at a later date when i have decided to either transfer to you or keep my domain with 123

If you transfer the domain to us it will be renewed for an additional year once the transfer completes, yes.
From there on, the renewal cost of the domain each year will depend on what type of domain it is. You can see our renewal cost (excluding private registration of $8) for all domains we support at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/
You welcome to start your site at a free address and only transfer the domain later if you’re sure, yes. You can also use the free domain credit in our paid plans to just map the domain here, meaning you connect it to your WordPress.com site, but it stays registered with your current provider.
