  Hi,

  How can I get my whatever.wordpress.com domain? According to the support page it is for free but when I type in my preferred website name, only the .home.blog domain is for free. Am I doing anything wrong?

  Hi there,

  On the very first step in signup, do not select the “Share ideas” option in the list. If you select that option you’ll be suggested a .blog subdomain. But if you select something else, or skip that first step completely, you should see the option for a free WordPress.com subdomain instead.
