  Hi,
  I was a member of wordpress and had registered my domain name sarahsalvadore.com. I shut my account in January, but you haven’t released the domain name yet.

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.

  I have no way of telling you exactly when this domain will be released, and we have no way to release it manually.

  We might still be able to restore the domain and transfer it to your new WordPress.com account. Then you’ll be able to transfer it to another service should you prefer.

  Please let us know if you want to try that, then we’ll follow up via email to get the process started.
