  Is it possible to get a domain name from a blog that hasn’t been in operation for the past 5 years?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  What is the domain name? Is it connected to a site that is hosted on WordPress.com?

  If the domain is still active, the only way for you to retrieve it is to contact the owner and see if they are willing to transfer the domain to you. You would have to negotiate the terms of the transfer, especially if it hosted elsewhere and if they still have use for the domain still.
