  I have a site that will be changing their domain name. They do not know what their new name will be yet either. I want to set up the site and work on it so its ready to go soon. When I set up in Word press, do I use their already used domain name?

  I don’t understand what you’re trying to do.

  Do you want to change the domain on an existing site? If so, what is the site’s current address?

  Or do you want to create a new site, hosted on WordPress.com, and connect an existing domain to this new site?

  Ok, first start your new site at https://wordpress.com/start

  Then, when you’re ready, map the existing domain following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
