  I am trying to upgrade from the free to a Personal plan. But the website name shown is ‘christianhealthperspectives.wordpress.com’. I don’t want ‘wordpress’ as part of the name. What to do?

  Hi there,

  All WordPress.com sites have a free address like that, and that address exists as long as the site does. The only way to completely get rid of it is to delete the entire site.

  But if you upgrade to the Personal Plan you have the option of registering your own custom domain. That domain will then appear to your site visitors instead of the free WordPress.com address.
