Hello, I am the owner of Laynasmusic.wordpress.com. I when I first registered the site i meant to go with laynamusic.wordpress.com, without the s. When I registered, I forgot I was logged into a friends account when i made the domain. I quickly deleted the website completely but I am not able to change this domain name to that one. Is there anyway I would be able to change it? This all happened towards the end of May.

It’s not possible to change the address of a site to an address that has already been used before.
You would have been able to transfer the site from your friend’s account to yours, as explained at https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/, but that’s not possible any more now that you’ve deleted it.
We can restore deleted sites, but only at the request of the account that created the site (your friend’s in this case), and, more importantly, for only 30 days after the site was deleted.
As you deleted laynamusic.wordpress.com almost three months ago, it’s long past that limit, so it’s not possible for us to restore it any more. There is no way to use that exact address again for any site on WordPress.com.
