  We have registered the above domain name at crazydomains. We would like to build a very simple website using WordPress and publish it via crazydomains.

  Is it possible to skip the domain transfer or mapping and proceed to build the web page?

  Hi Sean,

  WordPress.com is a hosting provider. If you want to publish your site via Crazy Domains, it means they will be your hosting provider, and you’ll be using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org, which is something completely different from WordPress.com.

  You only need our mapping upgrade if you host the site with us, not if you host it at Crazy Domains.

  Please contact support at Crazy Domains directly for help setting up hosting and installing WordPress on their servers.
