  Hello, I am an administrator on HTCWrestling.com. We have been talking about revamping our site and changing our name and domain name. However, the owner of the site, Matthew Harrak, cannot access his WordPress account to do so because it is under an old phone number and he is locked out of it. Matthew is also not fully affiliated with the site anymore, but is willing to transfer the ownership of the site to me.

  Is there any way you can help us with this issue? If you cannot get Matt into his account can we make a new domain and have all of our content transferred to a new site? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi there,

  Only the current owner of a domain or a WordPress.com site can transfer it to someone else. We cannot do it at the request of a third party under any circumstances.

  Please ask Matthew to follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ to regain access to his account, and then we’ll be able to help him transfer whatever he want to transfer to the WordPress.com account he specifies.
