  Hi. I’ve just created a domain name but not quite what I wanted. I need to check things with ASIC first. I’m also wondering does it have to have WordPress in it – eg I only want abcde.com (This is made up) but when I entered it came up with abode.wordpredd.com. That is not a name I want to give out.

  The .wordpress.com version is how a free site looks. If you’d like to use a custom domain instead, then you can do that with an upgraded hosting plan. See here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
