  Hi, I have tried to start up my website with my own domain, and I tried to map it, but saw that when I was about to purchase the website was ‘my domain name.wordpress.com’ at the end. So I was afraid to purchase it, because I didn’t want to end up buying a domain with the wordpress.com at the end.

  What can I do to change it? Or how do I make sure that there is no wordpress.com at the end of my domain name?

  The _____.wordpress.com URL is the underlying site URL that all WordPress.com sites have. If you purchase a plan and set up a custom domain, your site visitors will only see the custom domain.
