Domain name available?

  I’m setting up a new account with a new email address and I want to reuse my old WordPress domain (tristanseume.wordpress.com) once I’ve closed my old account. Will it become available again once my old account is closed?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Deleted WordPress.com addresses do not become available again. If you delete that address and close this account, no other account will ever be able to use that address again.

  If you want your new account to be able to use this address, you’ll first need to create that account, and then transfer this address to that account, before you delete this account:
