Domain name cancellation

    How long does it take for a domain name to be released once it has been cancelled?

    Hi there,

    It can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release a newly registered domain that was canceled. We can’t guarantee that a canceled domain will be available to you again once it’s released.

    You can check the status of a domain by doing a WHOIS lookup, for example here: http://who.is/whois/

    That will give you all of the current information about a domain and whether it’s available to register. Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)
