Domain name did not change

    Hello, I recently purchased .art domain for my website, so I can have a .art site address instead of .wordpress.com. However, what happened is I ended up with art.wordpress.com. In My Site → Upgrades → Domains it says the .art page is active and expires next year.
    Could anyone help me and tell why it doesn’t work?

    You’ll need a paid plan to set a custom domain as your site’s primary address: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#set-a-primary-address

    If you do that, don’t choose a free domain to include, and instead let us know here. Since paid plans include one free year of a domain registration, we can still send a refund for the domain you registered separately.
