Domain name help…

Hi there, I recently made a site, but I realized that I had accidentally been logged in to an old school account when I made it. I made myself an admin, but since I was unable to delete the school account or transfer the content to be in my name (I got an error message each time), I ended up deleting the site. However, when I try to remake the site with only myself as an admin, I see that the original site address is no longer available. Is there anything I can do about this?

Hi there,
When you delete a WordPress.com address, it’s permanently removed off our system and can never be used again by anyone, including the original owner. This was explained in the warnings on the page where you had to confirm the site deletion.
What is the address in question? If you deleted it less than 30 days ago we can still restore the site, and then help you transfer it to the correct account, but we’ll need you to confirm here as the account you used to originally create the site.

Hi there, thank you for your response! The site name was “booth2table.wordpress.com”, which was created under the user “simmonsvoice”. My current account is user “emchicklis”. Thank you again, and please let me know if you need any additional info!

We can only restore a site if it’s requested by the account that used to own the site.
In other words, we can only restore booth2table.wordpress.com if the account,
simmonsvoicerequests it.Please log in as that account and comment here to confirm.
