domain name issue

  I use to have an account, but couldn’t log in and think I may have closed it, so I opened a new account. When I tried to set up a site using my name, it’s showing that name isn’t available, but also shows that the authors have deleted the site. Is it possible to have access to my name for my site?

  That site was deleted some time ago, yes, and the address is no longer available.

  When a WordPress.com site is deleted, the address is permanently disabled, and cannot be used again by anyone, so you won’t be able to create a new site with that address.
