Domain name – judyboyke.com

I need to renew my previous domain name judyboyke.com how do I do that?
-
Good morning –
It looks like this has been sorted already. When I check on that domain I can see that it is not set to expire until August 7th, 2020.

Let me update. The problem is more severe than anticipated. My daughter set the account up with me and I find that it is not shown on my account and her account was for a non-current email id. I need to show proof of ownership and fix the problem, which is that https://judyboyke.com shows that it has expired. Any advice on how to proceed will be welcome. Thank you.

Hi there,
So, does your daughter still have access to the account that judyboyke.com is under? If so, she can transfer the domain subscription from her accounts to your via the instructions provided here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
Or, when you say non-current email id, you mean that you/your daughter no longer have access to the email connected?
If that is the case, you can prove ownership by filling out this account recovery form:
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Thanks for your help. I’m not sure we can find the required paperwork, but we’re searching for it. The website does show my photo at https://judyboyke.files.wordpress.com/2015/07/judyboyke.jpg
and that matches my photo on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/judyboykecicero/ so that may help in defining ownership. I may be back for more advice in resolving this, but your help so far is most appreciated. The other issue I face is that the domain of judyboyke.com is not expired, yet when you view the site at https://judyboyke.com/ the message is the opposite. That seems to be a technical problem beyond my capabilities. How do I get that fixed? The site was working properly just a week or so ago, and no one has logged in for months, so I have no idea how this happened. Any advice on rectifying that issue will be appreciated. Thank you all.

Hi there,
We cannot accept a photo as a proof of ownership as we never asked for that when you signed up for an account. The only way to recover access to that account is to provide us with a transaction ID for any upgrades purchased. This means that you need to find the transaction associated with your domain purchase and sent it to us using the following form:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
More information can be found in the following document:

My primary concern in initiating this thread was getting the domain fixed. You confirmed it has not expired, yet the URL says that it is. https://judyboyke.com/ What must be done to get that fixed? Thank you.

Please follow the account recovery instructions I provided in my previous reply to gain access to the account that owns that domain. Then we’ll be able to further assist you with your issue.

Problem resolved. A bit puzzling, but okay. Although the domain is listed as not expiring until August 2020, WordPress expired it in early August 2019 on the account. It’s now paid and back up. Thanks for your time as I worked through this.
