domain name not available

  I’m looking to take on a new blog, and there is a domain that I’m interested in. However it is already hosted by someone else who hasn’t touched the site in a year and a half and has done very little to the blog when they opened it. I was wanting to know if there was a time limit to when the page would become available again?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated

  No – there is no requirement to actually use a blog or a requirement for people to Post regularly

  It can be a good thing for some – I started a history blog here because if I don’t post regularly or get tired of working on the blog the content will still be safe for others to see –

  I agree in part. However the site I’m looking to take on only has the welcome message on it from wordpress and no other posts just a banner picture at the top. I’ll keep plugging away, maybe the owner will get back to me if I can contact them???
