Domain name – not customized

    I am trying to create a cite, and when I go through the steps, it asks me to give it a domain name. I do not want any of the customized domain names they are offering. I just want to have the regular .wordpress.com for the domain; I don’t want to purchase my own. I doesn’t seem to give an option for that, so I don’t know how to get around that step. Any suggestions?

    If you just type in a key word, not a full domain, you should see a free WordPress.com option, or depending on your choices in the questionnaire at the start, one of the free .blog subdomains we have available.

    If you specifically want a WordPress.com address, not a free .blog subdomain, skip the survey in the first step.
