    Is it better to have my current domain switched to WordPress or leave it where it is and use WordPress in addition?

    Hi there,

    It’s unclear what you actually want to do, and you don’t currently have any sites with us.

    If you create a WordPress.com site, and you want to use your own domain you already own with that site, there are two ways to do it:

    1) You can transfer the domain to us, so you manage the domain registration through us going forward.

    2) You leave the domain at your current provider, and just connect it here via a process called domain mapping.

    Which one you choose is entirely up to you, and neither option is necessarily better than the other.
