  Hello,
  I am looking to create a website with the domain name .com, but I saw that after the first year there is an $18 charge. Can you tell me if that is a one time fee, or a yearly fee in addition to the $4/month?

  Domain registrations are a yearly fee on WordPress.com as they are for registering a domain with any registrar. We just include the first year’s fee for free when you purchase a WordPress.com plan.
