Domain name redirect

    I just purchased a domain name from WordPress.com and then realized I would possibly need to put advertising on my blog. I would like to get a hosting plan at a hosting company, but I’m not sure what I need to do to direct my new domain name to that company?

    I haven’t even started posting in the blog yet.

    What is the best way to do this?
