domain name renewal

  I originally purchased my domain name masterpiececs.com through Google. That was on March 20, 2019. I transferred that domain name to WordPress on November 8, 2019. Google is notifying me of renewal for next month. Do I renew through Google or through WordPress. I have not received a notice from WordPress. I’m thinking that will occur in November of this year.

  Hi –

  Google is still your domain registrar. Site Ground looks to be the hosting provider. Both of those need to remain up to date in order for your site to work.

  With that said, the site mentioned does not use our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com. Instead, it’s set up on the open source WordPress.org software which is something different.
